nalbandian on rhodes, eric revis on bass, nasheet waits on drums. with a rhythm section like that, who needs enemies. the rhodes ensures this record has a nice moodiness to it. nalbandian's playing lacks emotional thrust for me, but the rhythm section is just that burning on this record that it's still a compelling listen. i never get tired of the piano bass drums format.
