i was reading an interview with katie gately after the recent release of her excellent album 'colors', and in it, she provided a playlist, and a track from klara lewis was on there.  artists recommending artists, this can be among the best ways to discover new art.  this klara lewis certainly did not disappoint.  i might even like it better than the katie gately.  granted, gately's record takes more chances than this one.  still, this one delivers again and again on repeated listens.  electronic records tend to have a short shelf life for me, just because they tend to sound dated after a year or two, often times.  this record is very minimal, and quite tasteful.  it has a really soothing vibe.  i suspect this might be in rotation for me for some time to come.
