i'm on a serious resident advisor kick lately.  letting them dictate what i check out much in the way that i would follow record labels religiously as tastemakers in the 90s, buying anything at all put out by labels like simple machines, quarterstick, trance syndicate, touch and go, drag city, thrill jockey, etc.  i am not going to lie and tell you that this album is fully rideable.  there are these spoken word tracks that are kinda annoying.  still, some really fresh electronic on display here.
