I saw Bone Awl recently with Intelligencer, and 20 seconds into their set someone in the crowd had a beer bottle smashed into their face.

Don't remember if I posted this before, but how fucking great is this album art? Album art of the century?
Danava are a proggy hipster stoner metal band from Portland, OR with some pretty gnarly riffs and great synth work.
They've definitely upped the ante with this record. IMO one of the better records in the stoner/psych rock field of the last few years.
