J.e.a.n.-P.h.i.l.i.p.p.e. G.o.u.d.e. - 'D.r.o.n.e.s.' (1980)
this album is a true burner. if you like vintage synth-centric heavy ass psych prog from france, then this is your jam, my friend. if you're not sure if you like that, then start digging, because it's a long ways to china.
p.s. in case you're wondering, yes, indeed, this music is every bit as cool as the album art suggests.

this jazz rock prog classic from 1973 sat in the vaults at warner bros for nearly thirty years before being released for the first time in 2001. if you think the words jazz and rock and classic do not belong in the same sentence together, then i ask you to look at the title of this record and ask yourself if you really think you want to miss out on the music contained within this little long lost gem. hmm, do ya?

t.2. - 'i.t.'l.l. a.l.l. w.o.r.k. o.u.t. i.n. b.o.o.m.l.a.n.d.' (1970)
this power trio was, according to wiki, given the :enormous sum of £10,000 in advance royalties" in 1970 to record this record, which they did expertly, and shortly after that split up and fell off of the face of the earth. poor distribution cast this record into obscurity. put it on and feel the soaring timelessness.
not to be confused with the band u2, they suck.

c.o.m.u.s. - 'f.i.r.s.t. u.t.t.e.r.a.n.c.e.' (1971)
uk morbid ass freaked the fuck out folk. lyrics that wouldn't be out of place on an eddie detroit record, but this group's sound is ultra polished. still, it somehow maintains a manic feel to it, not dissimilar to their album art, which was drawn by a band member in ball point pen. apparantly david bowie was a fan. far out stuff.
