Feel Like Jumping, The Best of Studio One Women
This comp made an overnight convert of me, never was much of a reggae fan before I heard this. Last night I was at a party slingin mp3s when somebody asked me for some reggae and right then I knew I was grossly remiss for not having this; don't let it happen to you. Reggae seems to me like it's one of the many things in life that gets so much better when there're women involved. _alibi

Gamelan Gaya Surakarta
Only Jineman I know of with a kemanak part, which in this recording is actually played on bonang. This is a contemporary piece, not classical, but is mixed in with the classical reperetoire and generally well liked. I especially like when the vocal part is soloed in this piece. Self-up. _alibi

Hsaing Waing Of Myanmar and Music Of Myanmar
Two Albums: Hsaing_Waing_Of_Myanmar (WML #5162) and Music_Of_Myanmar (WML #5132). Both from the great King Record’s World Music Library collection. Lots of differnt sounds and styles on these two gems. I highly recommend the last two Yodaya tracks of the second disc for fans of Oval, Actress, etc. @320.
