villalobos means village of wolves.  apparently it's not an uncommon last name.  makes you wonder.  

this music is really chill.  it's this weird genre of electronic that doesn't seem to mind using fake sounding approximations of instruments and manages to make them sound not at all cheesy.  petre inspirescu treads similar territory and does so wonderfully.  this record is decidedly more groovy than inspirescu's stuff.  four tracks, 50 minutes.  this one might make my year end best of list.  simultaneously experimental and catchy.  not an easy feat.
